Principal
Tracey Boyd began the Boyd Academy of Dance in Rowville in 1992, and under her direction it has grown into one of the most well respected and successful dance schools in the state.
Before beginning the Boyd Academy, Tracey enjoyed much success as a professional dancer, performing in such productions as ‘Cats’, ‘Seven Little Australians’ and ‘Favourite Son’ as well as many cabaret, dinner theatre and other entertainment productions.
Tracey is a qualified R.A.D. (Royal Academy of Dance) Ballet and The Russian Vaganova based syllabus Teacher. She also has extensive experience and training in Jazz, Neo-classical and Tap, having worked and trained with professional choreographers, teachers and performers.
Tracey has, over the years, also held dance workshops interstate, choreographed for productions of ‘The Pyjama Game” and ‘Nothing to Wear’ at the State Theatre and much more.
